Split Jumps: An Epic Leg Exercise for Quads, Glutes, and Cardio

You should be adding some type of plyometric exercises into your workouts! Plyometrics include explosive jumping exercises, throws, as well as exercises like the clap push-up. Plyometrics help to increase power, speed, jumping ability, build muscle, etc.

Even if you' don't consider yourself an athlete these exercises help build muscle, burn some calories, increase bone density, improve your cardio, and a host of other benefits!

Enter the split jump! This is an awesome exercise to build the quads, glutes, and improve your cardiovascular help. I love them because they help us train the legs equally and can be done with no equipment. If you want to step these up a notch hold a dumbbell or kettlebell in the goblet position!
